the sand cats

Scientific name of the sand cat is Felis Margarita. A sand cat can weigh up to 22.4 pounds. The height of the cat is 7.5. The males are always bigger than the females. The sand cat has pointy ears and a sandy yellow fur stripes.                                                                                        A sand cat lives solitary. A sand cat is not a predator it usually prey. When something comes up to the cat it closes his eyes to fake dead. A sand cat is a carnivore. A sand cat hunts at night it’s such a vost.                                                                                                                     The sand cat lives in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. The sand cat lives in the desert. It can live a long time without water. It can go through 225 digress without water or anything without dyeing. The sand cat is very small but very strong.                                                Humans tried to catch them and keep them as pets. The sand cat is known to live for 13 years. There are 11,000 sand cats. The sand cat population is not available. The range didn’t move only the population did.                                                                                                            Most of the sand cats died of shortage of food and water. They died of disease to. At one point they were concerned of low population. They are concerned on their size because other animals can eat them. They are being protected by an international agreement that restricts the trade in animals.
