Chamois
The endangered animal I am researching is called ‘‘apennine chamois’’. The scientific name of this animal Rupicapra Rupicapra ornate.this animal look like a goat like mammal found in mountains of Europe.both male and female have shaped horns that slight’s curl back wards.
Apennine chamois is solitary animal, which means they usually live alone. The chamois have many predator’s like wolves, lynx, bears, etc. Apennine chamois have great sence which is there eyes when they see any danger they immediately tell the other’s by there horns.
Apennine are herbivore’s which means they eat leaves and tree’s ,bud and fungi.apennine chamois are not consumer’s.
Apennine chamois live in mountains of Europe.the Apennine chamois prefer rock’s at high above 1700 meter’s for habitat.
Some cause’s of decreasing population of chamois is iss that the people were hunting it because of the fur.another cause is that they were construction under the moutains they live in. Some sources I used were http://earthsendangered.com and http://worldwildlife.org.
