African wild dogs

You may have heard of the African wild dog. These are
Not your regular dogs. They are very mean but good looking dogs
They have a dark or light brown fur coat and have a lot of spots (www.earthsendangered.com).  They are endangered due to isolation. The African people are trying to take over the land they are on now (www.wcs.org). The wildlife conservation society is trying to start capturing the wild dogs because they want to make sure they are in a good place and not going to be killed by the South African tribes.
When these dogs hunt for food they attack the prey from the back side so they can’t run away. They travel in packs of 6 or they are with a larger pack but they are all family.  The African wild dogs are also
called carnivores. They live in South Africa in the woodlands (www.natgeo.com).  Just a place with a lot of grass and land.
